Submitting a manuscript to Core Collection is always free. You are only charged if your article is accepted.

When applicable, APCs are invoiced only after a manuscript is accepted for publication.

When will APCs be introduced?
We plan to introduce APCs in 2026. All authors will be notified well in advance. Manuscripts submitted before APCs are introduced will be processed free of charge.
Will there be waivers for researchers from low-income countries?
Yes, Core Collection is committed to supporting researchers worldwide. We will offer automatic waivers or significant discounts for authors from low-income countries as defined by the World Bank.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. There are no submission fees, page charges, color figure charges, or any other hidden costs. The APC (when introduced) will cover all publication costs.
Can institutions pay on behalf of authors?
Yes, we accept payment from institutions, funding bodies, and research grants. Invoices can be issued to institutions upon request.
Is there a fee for rejected manuscripts?
No. Authors are never charged for manuscripts that are rejected during peer review.
What payment methods will be accepted?
When APCs are introduced, we will accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and institutional purchase orders.
